We’ve delivered a wide variety of warehouse construction projects in nearly every state. This is one of our strongest, and it’s stood up to the harshest elements.
The Korte Company was selected for the design and renovation of the United States Postal Service’s (USPS) Northern New Jersey Metro Processing and Distribution Center. The facility is located in Teterboro, New Jersey in a high-risk storm zone.
The 332,000-square-foot facility was the 24th project we completed for the USPS. The work included a complete update of an existing warehouse to USPS standards. Partnering with the entire USPS team yielded a superior project, completed 132 days ahead of schedule with substantial cost savings. The USPS even recognized the project with its Team Management Award.
We’re proud that as a result of our work, this facility stood up to Hurricane Sandy and survived some of the storm’s worst weather. Even though Hurricane Sandy caused upwards of $62 billion dollars of damage, this USPS facility came through unscathed.
We’ve also delivered many builds for commercial distributors nationwide. Learn more about warehouse construction from The Korte Company.
