The Korte Company has a complete team of seasoned warehouse builders. We’ve constructed more than 19 million square feet of warehouse space across the nation, and this is one of our many warehouse builds.
This project is the third building awarded to The Korte Company by the United States Postal Service (USPS) within a twelve-day period. Like the other two USPS buildings, this project was awarded through a Design-Build competition. It required a 210-day completion schedule. To meet this demanding timeframe, all members of the design and building team had to come together and form a close working relationship.
Construction permits were received in phases as drawings were completed. Site preparation began long before the building and structural drawings were complete. The job progressed with many design and construction elements occurring simultaneously. As the founders of the Design-Build method, it makes us proud that our team’s ability to manage and direct all design and construction efforts played a crucial role in this project’s success.
We’ve also delivered many throughput centers for commercial producers and distributors. See one of our best warehouse builds here or learn more about throughput center construction at The Korte Company.
