West County Christian Church is a large religious and educational complex that The Korte Company designed and built. We master-planned the facility to eventually contain up to 50,000 square feet. The overall site provides parking for more than 400 cars and contains visitor parking, an entry drop-off area, a playground and outdoor soccer and baseball fields. The first phase of the project contains the family life center that provides a place for worship, social and recreational functions, including a large stage and balcony areas.
The rest of the complex provides space for church administrative offices, second-floor classrooms and meeting rooms, a kitchen, a welcome center, a nursery and areas for toddler daycare, pre-school and kindergarten instruction. We delivered the build with Tilt-Up concrete exterior bearing walls and steel frame construction.
