The Earle M. Jorgensen Company needed room to expand its current operations.
When they made the decision to relocate to Union, Missouri, they called upon The Korte Company to deliver a 65,000-square-foot distribution center that could accommodate their expanding needs. We were proud to design and construct it.
Earle M. Jorgensen is a leading supplier of steel and aluminum metal products to manufacturing companies around the world. They process, warehouse and distribute on average 50,000 items and provide an “On Time, Or Free” delivery guarantee to customers. They rely heavily on a broad network of distribution facilities to ship products as quickly and efficiently as possible.
As part of this Design-Build project in Union, Missouri, we added 4,500 square feet of office space. The facility employs about 30 Earle M. Jorgensen associates. A total of three bridge cranes and a single gantry crane complete the heavy load mechanisms. The pre-engineered metal building features energy-saving LED lighting.
