MACNAK/Korte Group LLC has been selected by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Los Angeles District, to design and build a 3-story, 240-person dormitory on Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada.
The estimated 85,250 square foot facility will include 60 4-bedroom units, each with their own kitchen, laundry and living room space. Additionally, the project will include recreational grounds, landscaping, parking and utilities and will meet LEED Silver certification when complete. As part of the scope of work, two existing dormitories will be demolished upon the completion of the new facility.
