The Korte Company completed work on Granello Bakery’s new headquarters, located at 5045 Mardon Avenue in Las Vegas. The $4.2 million project is a 37,400 square feet, two story structure with both a wholesale baking facility and the company’s administrative offices.
The Granello Bakery Company moved to Las Vegas in 1996 and caters to hotels and casinos, providing breads, rolls, cakes and pastries to virtually every major property on the Strip. They also provide many of the baked goods and pastries for the Las Vegas Starbucks stores. According to Greg Korte, president of The Korte Company’s Las Vegas Division, “There was tremendous pressure to get this facility completed quickly due to the company’s tremendous growth in Las Vegas.”
