The Korte Company was awarded this project as a task order under a Multiple Award Construction Contract with the Department of the Navy. The 41,000-square-foot structure provides the United States Marine Corps at Parris Island with indoor training facilities for marine recruits. The space can also accommodate indoor graduation and religious services.
We built the facility using Tilt-Up construction with a brick face exterior. The interior consists of an open lower level area complete with bleacher seating, restrooms and administrative offices. There’s also a mezzanine level with bleachers.
