Atlantic Aviation selected The Korte Company to lead their 12,639-square-foot Design-Build renovation project at the Las Vegas executive airport hub.
Headquartered in Plano, Texas, Atlantic Aviation is a premiere fixed-base operator (FBO). With over 65 FBOs across 30 states, Atlantic provides a wide range of aircraft ground handling and corporate flight support services, including fueling and line services, ground transportation, catering, hangar, deicing, and ramp space.
The extensive renovation was delivered in just two months and included new construction as well as selective demolition throughout the entire space. During construction, the site remained occupied and fully operational. To accommodate Atlantic Aviation’s staff and customers, a detailed plan was initiated to ensure construction would not interfere with normal business operations.
The Korte team was able to meet the aggressive two-month timetable while construction was completed entirely during evening and non-business hours.
The scope was work included a new lobby and entrance area, ticketing area, conference room and bathroom facilities. Along with specialty finishes, construction included rough carpentry, casework, new doors, framing, hardware, flooring, painting furnishing, fire protection, plumbing, mechanical and electric.
