Cerro Flow Products, a manufacturer of world-class-grade copper tubes for the plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration and industrial markets, selected The Korte Company to design and construct an expansion of its Sauget warehouse as well as other improvements to the existing facility.
The expansion and improvement project included an extensive renovation including both demolition and the design and construction of a 76,000-square-foot warehouse addition. The metal building warehouse expansion incorporated the replacement of existing floor slabs as well as the addition of new footings and interior floor slabs.
Improvements to the docking areas included new loading bay areas and insulated dock doors, dock levelers, vehicle restraints, utility posts and trailer cooling fans. The scope of work also included the design and installation of a complete heating and ventilation system throughout the entire warehouse.
Additionally, a new electric system, lighting and switches were installed throughout. We also installed a dry sprinkler system including all piping, electric alarms, controls, sprinkler heads and backflow devices.
Office areas were constructed with new flooring, HVAC, electrical, phone and sprinkler systems.
