The Korte Company is excited to announce the addition of eight new members to our growing team. They cover a broad range of skill sets and are helping out from the East Coast to our Vegas office.
Mr. Tom Mertz joined our Highland office on May 26th as the Federal Market Leader. Tom has a BSCE from the University of New Mexico and an MBA from Washington University.
Sarah Cowles was welcomed in May as well, but to our Las Vegas Office. Sarah is a receptionist, so make sure to say hi when you call.
John Bays started at the St. Louis office as an Estimator. John has a B.S. degree in construction management from Purdue University.
We’d also like to welcome Ray Morrissette. Ray is Site Safety & Health Officer on the Gateway Inns & Suites project in Newport, Rhode Island. He has an A.S. degree in Architectural Engineering and a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering.
Interns? Yep, we’re excited to have them on board as well. No coffee and donuts for this crew – this is an internship that delivers real world experience.
Andrew Martiszus is a Pre-Construction intern, who is pursuing a degree in Construction Management from Indiana State University.
We have two new Project Engineer interns, Steve Knotts and Alex Ayres. Alex graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S. degree in Architecture. The Wolverine then moved on to Washington University to pursue a dual Master’s degree in Architecture and Construction Management. Steve joined our team on June 1st.
Taryn Underwood started at the Highland office on May 11th as a Korte Design intern. Taryn recently graduated from Ranken Technical College with a B.S. in Architectural Technology.
