As new healthcare technologies and treatment options develop, patients’ needs change and hospitals constantly adapt. When Anderson Hospital needed to expand their cancer treatment capabilities, they called on The Korte Company to construct the Oncology Institute.
The 6,300-square-foot building is located on the hospital campus, just east of the main complex. The treatment area consists of concrete bearing walls with a concrete roof structure. To make it safe for radiation procedures, we specially encased it in concrete up to 3 feet thick in certain places.
The therapy room houses state-of-the-art equipment that can provide the necessary pinpoint accuracy to treat cancer patients. The rest of the facility includes a chemotherapy suite, a CT Scan area, exam rooms, doctor’s office, nurses station and waiting room.
We’re proud to put The Korte Company name on this build and the many others we’ve delivered for Anderson Hospital through the years.
We get the job done. Always on time. Always on budget. And right the first time. Learn more about our hospital construction work here.
