At The Korte Company, we’ve delivered many type of healthcare facilities across the U.S., including a long list of specialty healthcare construction projects. This is one of our strongest.
The Bond County Health Department Facility is a 24,000-square-foot, one-story structure that houses the following services for the Bond County Region: Home Health and Hospice Department licensed for five counties, a Dental Clinic, the Prairie Counseling Center, the Maternal Child Health Department and WIC, the Healthy Families Program, the Family Planning and Immunizations Clinic, the Environmental and Emergency Preparedness Offices, and health department administrative offices.
Bond County Health relocated from an older building downtown to the new, showcase facility on land purchased with future expansion in mind. The Bond County Transit Center, another facility we built, sits nearby.
This single-story healthcare facility is a brick veneer building with a wood frame structure and a hip roof to provide an office-like setting with residential scale. The building has a geothermal heating and cooling system and a backup generator to serve as a disaster area command center. We completed this project in 2009.
We’re proud to help build better care throughout the country as well as in the St. Louis region, our home. Learn how we use healthcare construction to help care providers improve patient outcomes.
