This project consisted of the design and construction of a new, 35,200-square-foot, Communications and Electronic Maintenance and Storage Facility.
We designed and built the facilities to meet U.S. Green Building Council LEED standards and Anti-Terrorism and Force Protection. Each Battalion Unit will have a secured area consisting of 10,204 square feet of Communications and Electronic Maintenance & Storage as well as 24,649 square feet of Secured Battery Storage and supporting Administrative Offices.
The common areas consist of a classroom, training room, restrooms, telecommunications room, content management system vault, janitorial room, mechanical and electrical rooms, and common area circulation. The facility uses a concrete Tilt-Up wall system with structural steel framing and has systems for fire protection and mass notification.
We completed the site with a range of additional features, including an enclosed mechanical yard, an asphalt parking lot, chain link fencing, landscaping irrigation and site utilities.
