At The Korte Company, we’ve delivered many school, university and college construction projects. In this build, we helped Southwestern Illinois College (SWIC), based in Belleville, Illinois, bring higher education opportunities to East St. Louis. They’re also partnering with Kaskaskia College to provide as many course offerings as possible.
We renovated existing buildings at SWIC’s East St. Louis Community College Center, managed and built new facilities as well. The Capital Development Board for the state of Illinois selected The Korte Company for the interior renovation of four existing buildings (129,000 square feet) and the construction of two new buildings (60,500 square feet) in East St. Louis, Illinois.
