Faith House is not like a typical home. It is a home for children, from newborns to five-year-olds, who have had prenatal exposure to drugs or children of substance abusing parents.
The Faith House Board of Directors selected The Korte Company as the Design-Build contractor for their new facility located in St. Louis, Missouri.
The Korte Company’s goal was to design a building that provided the children with a home-like environment while meeting state requirements for a 24-hour childcare institute.
The facility includes administrative offices, a full kitchen, central courtyard and dormitory-style rooms for the children. Significant cost savings were generated and returned to the owner, who used it to purchase additional items for the home.
