At The Korte Company, we’re bank builders and bank designers.
Our multiskilled team is experienced in both architecture and construction. We’ve coordinated hundreds of Design-Build projects throughout the U.S. In Design-Build, our team manages and delivers all elements of a build from inception to completion. And using this delivery method, we’ve completed on-time and on-budget builds for banks across the U.S. This is one of our finest bank construction projects.
We built this 7,000-square-foot banking facility for Farm Credit Services’ Highland Illinois branch. Farm Credit Services embarked on a path of relocating branch offices from leased tenant spaces into branch offices to reinforce the company brand identity. This building design provides an aesthetically pleasing visual that’s consistent with other branch designs and furthers Farm Credit Services’ efforts to establish a recognizable brand identity.
The building rests on 1.3 acres and is a wood construction frame with two-tone brick veneer, aluminum storefront windows and a roof with asphalt shingles. Interior spaces include 13 offices, a conference room, file storage, an interior lobby, administrative workstations, a break room, restrooms and a mechanical room.
We redesigned the file storage and administrative workstations to transform the original look and provide more of an open office with clear sightlines. We also reduced energy costs and gave the facility an element of sustainability by installing a geothermal heating and cooling system.
