This is a design-build construction project for a two-bay multiuse hangar facility configured for corrosion control, repair, and maintenance for the KC-46A aircraft.
Work includes refined grading of site, storm drainage, all utility infrastructure systems including electrical, water, sewer and communications connections with the Infrastructure Project systems, roads aircraft parking apron and all other supporting facilities. The Depot Maintenance Complex Support Infrastructure work involves leveling the Maintenance Complex site, storm drainage all utility infrastructure systems including electrical, water, sewer, communications and fuel.
Passive force protection consists of fencing to isolate the hangars. Facilities are designed as permanent construction in accordance with DOD Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 1- 200-01. This project will comply with DOD Anti-Terrorism and Force Protection requirements per unified facilities criteria UFC 4-010-01
