May Company’s building program involved eleven floors of office space renovation completed in several phases. Throughout a seven-year time period, The Korte Company completed over $14 million in renovations to this building.
The project team gutted the existing floors and recreated the interiors to give the Downtown Railway Exchange Building a new look. In addition to updating the offices, work included renovation of a store entrance, elevator replacement, lobby and stairs for three levels.
The Korte Company’s planning and management of the work proved to be successful in meeting the aggressive completion schedules with minimal disruption to office operations.
