The Moore County Hospital District Memorial Nursing Home renovation included new finishes, a covered vehicle entrance, dining room addition and a new outdoor seating area.
Hardwood finishes, flooring upgrades, paint and new casework provided a warmer space for residents and staff. Energy-efficient LED lighting and new plumbing fixtures and an expanded fire protection sprinkler system were installed. The existing dining room was renovated and expanded to include additional space for private events.
Outside the day room, the existing seating area was expanded to offer residents a relaxed communal space under a pergola, complete with a wood-burning fireplace and gas grill. New interior signage, wall protection, corridor handrails, and corner guards also were installed.
The spa room renovation included a new ceramic floor and wall tiles. Resident rooms were updated with new casework, finishes and light fixtures. The unique paint color was added to each of the five wings to provide visual recognition assistance for the residents. Improvements also included new casework, ceiling upgrades and wall finishes in the nurse station.
