The Korte Company has built a wide range of living facilities. Our experienced team has completed more than 2,000 builds nationwide, including this apartment complex construction for the military.
This project includes the design and construction of the new, 62,984-square-foot Unaccompanied Enlisted Personnel Housing (UEPH) barracks building, 37,821-square-foot Company Operations Facility (COF) building and supporting facilities. Our project team designed and constructed both facilities to meet Sustainable LEED standards and Anti-Terrorism and Force Protection, as required by Department of Army guidelines. And this facility earned a U.S. Green Building Council LEED Silver certification.
The UEPH houses 168 E1 to E4 enlisted personnel in two-bedroom modules with a shared bathroom, kitchen and dining area. The COF houses two 200-person companies. Each company will have administration offices, a readiness module with TA-50 “Go” lockers, a shower, latrine and covered hardstand. Site features include a concrete service yard, asphalt parking lot, sidewalks, site utilities, landscaping and irrigation.
