When Fine Entertainment Group decided to convert a western-themed saloon into an ultracasual craft beer tavern, they called upon The Korte Company to help with the Design-Build transition. The 28,000-square-foot remodel included 9,395 square feet of improvements and 500 square feet of building additions.
New overhead sliding doors were installed and open to a renovated 3,000-square-foot patio area with space for patrons, entertainment, as well as an array of games from shuffleboard and corn hole to darts.
The PKWY Tavern project included the demolition of walls and some of the interior features to create additional space for amenities including dining areas, billiards and a two-lane bowling machine. A brand new two-story beer cooler was added along with 160 additional beer taps to provide thirsty patrons with more than 250 selections of bottled and draught beer selections.
Additionally, the Mark L. Fine Red Room was constructed as a place for fans to watch UNLV sports on large screens. An additional 30 large TV screens were added throughout the facility.
