The Korte Company was awarded the contract for the construction of two Class A buildings as part of The Parkway West Office Park project.
Office Building One stands as a two-story structure spanning 30,000 square feet, dedicated to office space. Its core and shell were constructed with detailed finishes across the common areas, including lobbies, stairs, and restrooms. Currently, it is fully leased by Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Nevada Properties.
Office Building Two is also a two-story structure and measures 22,000 square feet. It also features high-end finishes throughout its common areas. The tenant improvements closely followed a biophilic interior design concept, aiming to foster a connection to nature through material selection, color schemes, and lighting arrangements. Warm tones dominate the material finishes, complemented by wood accents and green and brown hues.
The open offices feature a distinctive lighting pattern with random circular fixtures, evoking the sensation of being underwater amidst water lilies. Recessed windows adorned with generous overhangs serve dual purposes, enhancing the aesthetic appeal while providing shade and improving energy efficiency.
Additionally, both structures incorporate cool roofing materials to reflect sunlight and maintain lower internal temperatures. Enhancing the campus environment, a central courtyard graced with trees and landscaped features provides a serene and inviting space for occupants to enjoy between the buildings.
