At The Korte Company, our priority is to deliver the highest quality facilities for the growing senior market, something we’ve been doing for nearly seven decades. Peace Villa is just one example of a senior housing project that was designed and constructed to support the dual purpose of quality care and quality of life.
Peace Villa Senior Living differs from the traditional nursing home model and creates a home-like environment that affords seniors increased privacy. Seniors live in 30 individual and private units, each containing a bedroom, a handicap-accessible bathroom and a main area with a kitchen, a dining room and a living room.
The facility also includes a management office and a spacious multipurpose area that contains a kitchen, lounge area, beauty shop, computer room and laundry facilities.
We designed an easy transition between the parking areas and the facility entrance, with both at the same grade so there’s no incline for folks with disabilities to negotiate. Sidewalks and curb cuts are designed for handicap accessibility and meet Americans with Disabilities Act requirements.
The main entrance door of the building is automatic. We designed the corridors so residents and staff can easily maneuver medical equipment and supplies, wheelchairs and other mobility devices.
Our architectural and interior design teams have worked with construction teams on a long list of projects housing and senior living projects. Learn more about senior living design and construction at The Korte Company.
