Located in the heart of Tivoli Village, a distinctive collection of destination restaurants and upscale boutiques, the Parkway Tavern Tivoli project was a comprehensive remodel of an existing space that was completed just less than seven weeks.
Parkway Tavern Tivoli project, led by restauranteur Jonathan Fine of the Fine Companies, was the second project to date delivered by The Korte Company for the PKWY Tavern group in less than a year.
The renovation included substantial demolition work to remove the existing bar and storefront which made room for a larger bar area and overhead garage doors. The garage doors were installed to open outward to create a unique overhead feature for patrons dining in the newly expanded and updated exterior patio area.
More than 40 high-definition screens were installed in the bar area, which also required additional electric access throughout the perimeter of the interior spaces. To provide private and/or event space, owner-provided double doors were installed.
Underground utilities, floor drains, floor sinks, electrical and beverage lines were relocated to accommodate the new layout which included the design, fabrication and installation of a 40-keg overhead tap and delivery system. To supply the additional taps, existing cooler and freezer spaces were expanded to accommodate additional kegs.
