The Scott Club at Scott Air Force Base is a Design-Build project for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The Korte team engineered and redesigned the Corps’ original concept to meet the budget and still retain the original building elements.
The one-story structure combines an Officers Club and an Enlisted Club into one building, though there are separate dining rooms for both clubs that are served by the same kitchen. The club can host up to 590 people in its banquet room, lounges, game rooms and terraces.
The Korte Company received the prestigious Medallion of Excellence for Outstanding Performance from the Corps. It recognizes The Korte Company for “professionalism and excellent management” for completing the project six months ahead of schedule.
