The Sloan Logistics Center, located in North Las Vegas, is a 171,083-square-foot industrial logistics facility designed to serve the expanding demand for diverse logistics solutions in and around the Las Vegas market.
The Sloan facility features 32 truck docks with reinforced concrete aprons and 10-foot insulated steel sectional overhead doors. An additional four truck ramps with 16-foot insulated doors were also included in the scope of work. Concrete pavement was provided for all truck travel routes throughout and around the site.
The Tilt-Up concrete panel construction provides 36-foot interior clearance as well as the ability to accommodate numerous front loading and cross-dock configurations to serve a multitude of tenant-based layout specifications.
The scope of work also included asphalt paving for 171 parking stalls, an underground electrical conduit for EV charging stations, four pre-cast concrete trash enclosures (with a raised metal deck roof) and steel gates, as well as an eight-foot wrought iron security fence complete with rolling security access gates to the loading docks and truck ramps.
During construction, FAA clearance was required for the cranes operating within the Nellis Air Force Base fly zone.
