Our team has decades of experience building facilities for a range of senior living communities. In this project for Stillwater Senior Living, we helped develop a community for seniors that emphasizes quality care and quality of life.
The Korte Company was chosen to partner in the construction of the Stillwater Senior Living community. The single-story, 45,190-square-foot facility, houses 46 apartments and suites.
The community is designed to facilitate a culture change in how senior living has developed through the years. While the community complies with all state regulations and has a license to operate as an assisted living facility in Illinois, some fundamental differences from traditional nursing homes help the residents feel more at home. Instead of the residents having to change their way of life, the center works with the residents, offering individualized schedules and activities that are in line with a healthier, more active demographic.
The majority of apartments are private, one-bedroom units with two-bedroom units available — each handicap accessible with a walk-out patio. We’re proud to help build a healthy way of life for our region’s seniors.
