VCA Decatur Animal Hospital has been caring for pets in the Las Vegas community for over 20 years, and when it was time to expand their facility, The Korte Company delivered a new two-story veterinarian hospital.
The 5,527-square-foot facility was built adjacent to their existing clinic, which allowed VCA to remain operational during construction.
The new facility’s design provides a modern veterinary hospital with interior finishes including skylights, tongue and groove ceilings and acoustical ceiling tiles that offer an open, aesthetic environment throughout the interior spaces.
Once the new facility was completed, the existing facility was removed to allow space for an additional parking area. The phased construction approach enabled continuous access to the hospital. Sitework, including repositioning of street lights, and replacement of sidewalks and gutters were also part of the project’s scope.
