The Mt. Vernon Walgreens Distribution Center is an automated warehouse facility serving 300 stores in the Midwest. The center relies on state-of-the-art computer supported management systems, electronic freight sortation and computer-assisted order selection devices. The Design-Build project required careful coordination to accommodate six miles of conveyor belts inside the facility. This is one of many projects we’ve completed for The Walgreen Company.
